Smellin' like a Rose

This month I looked at our calendars and knew that we were going to Victoria to do a workshop, so thought I would plan our date down there.

I know that Shawn loves to hang out in Victoria, and I know that he has always wanted to stay at the Laurel Point Inn. So, all I had to do was call up and book a room. I did a little investigating on their website and discovered that they had a romance package. It was our anniversary a few days after we were there, so I went for the romance package which included: a suite overlooking the harbour, champagne and heart shaped chocolates delivered during the evening while we were out, rose petals on our bed and breakfast in bed the next morning.

Wow… what a treat that was for both of us. The next day was our free day so we just hung around Victoria, went for a nice long walk and came home. Very nice and very romantic. I had the opportunity to have some great time away with my husband and wake up smelling like rose petals.
