Date Ideas

 

This month was simple and easy…. Well not really easy…poached.

 

It was nearing the end of the month, and I hadn’t pulled anything off yet. (Nice choice of words honey. I love the editing job - SJ) 

 

Our evenings had been booked solid, so I knew it had to be a daytime date. I had a list of options ready: kayaking, walk along the seawall, breakfast in our favorite restaurant and a few others. It was going to be dependant on the weather that morning, and when Shawn said we needed to go downtown for something, I decided then that breakfast at Tina’s would be the date for us. Tina’s Diner is our favourite spot and serves the best eggs bennie, and we love the company of Tina and her husband Paul. 

 

We have our own table down there… when we walk in, we sit down and someone brings us our two teas, and we know those eggs bennie will be along shortly.

 

It was an easy date, and the result was the same as always…. I got to spend some quality time with my husband.
