The Flat Tire

This date was quick, easy, inexpensive and exciting.

Back seat of a car or truck

Directions:

I had pre-selected the location that my truck would break down: a secluded side road on the way to the grocery store. I removed all car seats, toys and anything that I didn’t need in the vehicle. I put these things in the garage so that when he came home, he wouldn’t see them and catch on. I also put the seats down in the back.

If you don’t have a truck or an SUV, lucky you, as you will both have to squeeze into the back seat of your car.

The Date:

I showered and slipped into something that was easy to get in and out of. I left the house a few minutes before I expected Shawn to arrive home from work and drove to my pre-selected location. Once there I got to work: I climbed into the back seat and spread my blanket and fluffed my pillows. Then I made the call: I was panicked, like a princess in distress, telling him I had run over something on the road and now had a flat tire and could he please come and rescue me.

He valiantly jumped into his chariot and came to my rescue. I didn’t need much rescuing as I was waiting in the back seat when he arrived.

When he arrived and saw the truck parked off the main road with no flat tire he knew something was up. I stayed in the truck and as he approached the vehicle I unlocked the door and the rest…. You decide. it’s your date.
