The Geisha

Lorraine here and October was my month…I won’t share October's date as it was Halloween but I will share one I created a few months ago.

For this date I took a page out of our own book:

I have learned over and over that we are here for two reasons: to serve and to love.

Chapter eight, LOVE

The Date Mix:

Bubble Bath
Warm towels
Romantic CD
Massage oil
Sushi
His favorite beverage
Candles

Directions:

This is a really easy date to prepare, just make sure that you can send him out on an errand so that you can prepare. I sent him to pick up dinner so he had no idea and he picked up dinner: I didn’t have to go out or pay. I had run the bath while he was out and chosen the music to play and had it in the CD player waiting. Before taking him into the bathroom, I ran in and made sure everything was okay and turned on the music. I also turned down the lights in the house and lit some candles.

The Date:

I sent Shawn out to pick up our Sushi take out. By the time he arrived home I was waiting for him at the door with a big kiss and a drink in hand. We sat down and talked while he finished his drink and then I led him into the candlelit bathroom. It was very hot and steamy in there and I helped him get undressed and into the tub. While he was soaking in the tub I brought the sushi into the bedroom and set up dinner to have in bed (Sushi is cold so it doesn’t matter when you eat it). Then just like a geisha I knelt on my knees outside the door. Without saying anything, I made sure he knew I was there, just waiting for him. After a while I went into the bathroom and washed his back, refreshed his drink and went back to my post outside the door. When his bath was complete I brought him warm towels that I had been running in the dryer, and then I served and fed him his dinner. After dinner I laid him down and gave him a full body massage.

I am sure he felt both served and loved.
